I am running the London marathon thanks to my amazing running club Skegness and District running club but also as a thank you to the surgeon that saved my sister's life, I am raising money for the Ovarian Care Fund which her surgeon set up to help other women fighting this awful disease.
My sister, Sarah, had stage 4 ovarian cancer and the amazing surgeon who operates in the Queen Charlotte Hospital in London offered to do the surgery on my sister that Lincoln Hospital could not deal with.
I really want to thank her and I think this is a great way to support them.
I will also be running this in remembrance of my amazing grandmother who passed from this cancer also.
