On Sunday, July 8th from 9.00am we will be delivering biscuits to frontline NHS staff in five of our Lincolnshire hospitals, Grantham, Lincoln, Louth, Skegness and Boston, as bikers travel the rural roads to wish our NHS a Happy 70th Birthday and thank staff for their continued hard work!

We meet at Grantham Hospital at 9am and leave for Lincoln County Hospital at 9.30am, travelling via Sleaford and arriving Lincoln Hospital at 10.30am. We leave there at 11am and head for Louth Hospital, arriving at 11.45am and then head for Skegness Hospital at 12.15pm. We arrive Skegness at 1.30pm and stay for an hour and a half for lunch and head of from the Tower Esplanade Car Park at 3.15pm, to arrive at Pilgrim Hospital for 4pm. From 5pm we will be in the Burton House Pub, round the corner from Pilgrim Hospital.

I am a nurse, recovering from breast cancer, biker, but riding pillion again this year, but should be ok to ride next year and fighting hard for our NHS! I am a proud Lincolnshire Yellowbelly, born at Lincoln County Hospital, nurse trained at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston and currently living near Grantham. 

Fighting 4 Life Lincolnshire (find us on facebook) was born out of the fight for Grantham Hospital A & E and supports local and regional efforts to maintain vital services across our county and the national fight to save OUR NHS.
