I'm raising money for the National Autistic Society (NAS). To do this I'll be attempting to break the 17 year-old Lands End to John O Groats World Record. I'm doing this for my 7 year old daughter who has Autism and ADHD. As a family we have had a lengthy fight getting adequate support in place for her, due to a lack of understanding and awareness of Autism. As a girl on the spectrum, we faced considerable challenges due to the differences in presentation between boys and girls. There needs to be a better understanding of these conditions so children like Elise can find their place in the world.
