Story

Scott and Jon have decided to run the Birmingham International Marathon in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital and in memory of Robert Williamson. Robert received excellent support and care from the Children’s Hospital whilst growing up, and I know his family and friends have a massive appreciation to all the doctors and nurses that provided care over the many years of Robert's childhood and as a young adult.

It was with a very heavy heart that we had to say goodbye to Robert last year, but his memory and wonderful attitude to life will live on with us all!

As a family we would like to say a massive thank you to Birmingham Children's Hospital for all their support and care not just for Robert but for all children.

Thank you for your support, much love!

Scott and Jon

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
