Seren's Cycle Challenge · 24 May 2020

With fundraising events cancelled and no clear indication of when we can open our shops or how long it will take them to return to normal trading, St. John's Hospice anticipate a funding gap of £1m for this financial year.

Story

Hello!

'I am Seren and I am 6 years old. I have been inspired by lots of different people raising money during this time and I wanted to do something to help people too. I learnt to ride my bike properly less than a week ago and I really enjoy it so I thought I would try to cycle 30 miles in a week..maybe more!

I would like to raise at least £300 for St John's Hospice in Moggerhanger because they are a local charity who really needs our help - especially at the moment '

Coronavirus has given us many challenges. Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare teams are always there for local people who are dying. They are providing incredible emotional support as well as specialist medical care to people who are finding themselves in unimaginably difficult circumstances. We are all facing something we have never faced before which is why Sue Ryder has launched an appeal to make sure that they are still here. I am asking you to give whatever you can afford at this difficult time. Every pound you give could make the difference to whether they can be there or not.
