In September myself and Cath are doing the great north half marathon in aid of the British lung  foundation.

We are both respiratory nurses and we on a daily basis  see how cruel and debilitating these conditions can be.

Every  week 10.000 people get a new dignisis of a lung disease.

Every 5 minutes someone dies from lung  disease

Over 700,000 hospital admissions a year are due to lung disease.

Lung disease also effects children and  108,000 children are admitted to hospital each year with lung disease.

262 children under the age of 14 die each year due to lung disease.

The British lung foundation funds research to find new ways to prevent, treat and cure lung diseases.

They have over  230 breath easy support groups in the country.

Their support helpline answers more than 20,000 calls a year.

So Please help us support and fight back against lung disease, so people can breath easy

Thanks
