In these unprecedented times a lot  of small local charities which rely on fundraising events & mass gatherings to fund the running of their wonderful services will fall on hard times.

 As a family we know only too well what a fantastic job all the staff at jigsaw Childrens Hospice (eden valley hospice) do, compassionate, loving & caring. Which is a big factor  when choosing a place of respite for a precious family member. 

  I know there has/is alot of fundraising going on at the minute & my efforts may be labelled as “not another one”. But it’s something i feel I really need to do, to give something back. The idea came about a couple of weeks ago when my daughter Abbie noticed I hadn’t had a day off from running for a few weeks, to which I replied. “Im running every day of lockdown” & fortunately I've managed it so far (49 days at the last count/362miles).  All i am asking is for a MAXIMUM  £2 donation (this is the minimum amount for justgiving) from all friends & family & for them to mention it to their friends & family & see how far it will go for a very good cause.
