4 years ago I had a cycling accident that resulted in serious fractures of C2, T5 & T6.  I spent 7 days in hospital before being discharged home in a neck and body brace which I wore for 3 months. I have survived with minimal on going issues so now I raise money for the 'Aspire' charity to help the people who's lives change for ever as a result of spinal injury.  "Aspire provides practical help to people who have been paralysed by Spinal Cord Injury, supporting them from injury to independence".
