Story
Thank you for visiting our appeal page for Ida.
Ida came into our care needing an emergency c-section. Unfortunately for Ida she'd been left in labour too long without veterinary treatment. 2 of her kittens were born deceased, 1 with severe abnomalities, and the other 2 kittens had very weak heartbeats and did not survive for long.
Since her emergency surgery on the evening of Friday 17th August, Ida has had to remain in the care of the vets due to a high temperature. She's been on several antibiotics, is on a drip, has had an ultrasound and is now having to wear a buster collar as she's made her teats sore - the teats that are swollen with milk for kittens that didn't survive.
Ida is a gorgeous girl of only 2 years old, who wasn't neutered as she was an 'indoor' cat - despite widely advertised free schemes in the area she lived.
Ida is now approaching her 6th overnight stay at the vets since her operation - Any donation towards the care of this fabulous little girl is very much appreciated!
Any funds raised above the cost of the vet treatment for Ida will be used towards treatment for other residents of the branch.
