The 2016 Shelley charity trolley dash in conjunction with the forget me not children’s hospice which will take place on the bank holiday Sunday 28th August 2016 . The idea of this event is for teams to decorate a shopping trolley provided by us and getting yourselves sponsored to push it round the a course stopping at each pub or club involved to get a stamp of proof and of course the odd drink while collecting cash via a bucket collection on route to help the funds .
The initial intended route subject to agreement and involvement will start at The Flying Ferret Huddersfield road shelly will progress to Shelley sports and social club , the rising sun , The woodman , The woodman , Kirkburton cricket club , the George , The Libbers , The White Swan , The Smiths arms the Carlton club and back to The Flying Ferret .
How does your pub , club business or group get involved . Simply think up your design get your fancy dresses planned and then email flyingferretpub@mail.com to register your team. You could also arrange a pre dash fund raising event in your establishment in the weeks running up to the event
Registration will cost just £35. Teams will meet for registration at The flying Ferret Shelley by 12pm on Sunday 28th August and the dash will commence around 1.30pm .
After a pre launch meeting with the forget me not children’s hospice we are hoping to get celebrity endorsement to start the event and good publicity from press and tv to cover this event
All competitors take part in the event entirely at their own risk . The flying ferret will endeavour to borrow the trollies but can not yet at this moment guarantee the availability of a trolley from the organisers
