Story

Mind are the charity partner of the English Football League - Accrington Stanley visit Portsmouth FC on the last day of the EFL League One season on 4th May 2019. Six cyclists, including ASFC Managing Director, David Burgess and home stand sponsor, Bill Dyer, Managing Director of WM Dyer Electrical, along with an elite support team of four riders Shaun Burke, Joel Callister, Ryan Waddington and Robert Cooper, will cycle the 350+ miles from The Wham Stadium to Fratton Park staring their journey on Wednesday 1st May and arriving at their destination in time for the game on Saturday 4th May. The journey goes from Accrington - Stone (day 1), Stone-Banbury (day 2), Banbury to Basingstoke (day 3) and Basingstoke to Portsmouth (day 4).

Please sponsor the ASFC Cycle Team as they try and raise £5000 for the Mind charity. Your comments of support are most welcome and will certainly help the cyclists as they spend 6-8 hours in the saddle each day!
