Earlier this term, parents of St John’s Highbury Vale children received letters telling us about the funding issues at St John’s. We’re a parent-led community, so we decided to do something about it – and the Big 2k!!! was born.

All children at St John’s are invited to take part, alongside school teachers and staff. All parents, carers, family members and friends are invited to donate and come along on the day to support the school community.

Our target is to raise £10,000. It is a massive ask, but it is doable. Please, please contribute – even the smallest amount will help pay for those extras that will significantly enrich the education of every child at St John’s, helping them get so much more out of their school experience. 

The money you donate will go towards items like subsidising school trips, running topic workshops, buying art supplies, computers, music lessons and more. None of these extras are covered by standard school funding, so every penny will go towards helping St John’s very limited budgets go that much further.
