Chappie's Double Marathon Walk 2022 · 10 September 2022

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Hi guys,

Following on from my walk last year which went from Eastbourne Pier to Bognor Pier, this year I'm going to be doing another 60 (ish) mile walk for Teenage Cancer Trust, only this time I will be starting at Folkestone Harbour and ending at Eastbourne Pier.

On Saturday 10th September, I will set off from Folkestone Harbour and follow the England Coastal Path all the way to Rye, taking in Sandgate, Hythe, Dymchurch, Dungeness and Camber, and then on Sunday 11th, I will leave Rye station and head down by the harbour all the way to the beach and follow the coastal path along to Pett Level, before heading up (and down) the hills of Fairlight and the Hastings Country Park along to Hastings where I will re join the coastal path and make my way through St Leonards, Bexhill, Cooden, Normans Bay, and Pevensey, and finally along Eastbourne seafront ending up at the pier.

Teenage Cancer Trust is a fantastic charity that do so much to help young people with cancer and I always like to do something each year to raise some money to help them, so if you have a spare couple of quid and would like to sponsor me, that would be really amazing, and would be helping a great cause.

Thank you so much to anyone who does kindly sponsor me.
