The Charity takes approximately 200 sick people to Lourdes each year for one week. To enable the charity to do this it also has to take about 500 helpers and family. Helpers all give their time voluntarily and also pay for their own trip.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi my name is Sue. In 1996 I became ill and have been disabled and in a wheelchair ever since. I went on my first pilgrimage with Arundel & Brighton to Lourdes that year and have been many times since.  I have been incredibly blessed to have received financial assistance when needed and decided at the beginning of this year to raise funds for this wonderful cause by walking (or in my case riding) part of the Camino to Santiago. I have three fantastic, mad friends who are going to do it with me and we hope to raise a huge sum of money to help other less fortunate pilgrims to go to Lourdes. Please be generous and give whatever you can afford - even the smallest amount adds up and I send my prayers and thanks to you all.
