Myself and other members of Dumfries and Galloway Blood Bikes are undertaking an endurance event on our motorcycles! To raise much needed funds to enable us to continue this life saving service.

We aim to travel to the furthest northern,southern,western and eastern points of mainland Scotland. All in daylight hours and on the same day! We start at sunrise from the Mull of Galloway lighthouse ( southern point) and onto the west then east ending at the most northerly point at Dunnet Head,  hopefully before sunset.This is a mileage of over 700 miles and Google maps reckon over 18 hours to carry this out, we on the other hand will have 17 hrs of daylight on the 17th June 2017!!! Will we make it , who knows , but all of us will give it a good shot !
