Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

We’re planning to tackle the 100km (60 mile) walk over the August Bank Holiday Weekend in aid of Brain Tumour Research.

The Charity is close to our hearts and we’re undertaking this challenge in memory of Cat Anderson who as many of you will be aware tragically passed away in June of this year.

Cat lived life to the full despite being diagnosed with an in-curable malignant brain tumour in 2014.  She will be on our minds throughout the challenge and the way she met her own challenges head on will hopefully inspire us both.

So to the walk itself, 100km completed in as short a time as possible.

To be honest we were planning to complete the walk in 24 hours.  However since we started training nearly 2 months ago Nathan has been declared 'The Weakest Link' and walking for 24 hours without a break is going to be a step too far (he's blaming 2 knee ops and a recent holiday 'injury' as the only things holding him back).  We are therefore going to walk 30 miles each day and finish on Sunday afternoon.

Please give as much as you can and your support will as ever be much appreciated.
