Story
Thank you for visiting my page. Two of us (Dean & Jack) will be supporting Sarcoma UK by walking and wild camping 150 miles from Birmingham to London following the Grand Union Canal, Paddington Canal and Regents Canal right into the heart of Camden. We are aiming to complete this in 7-10 days dependant on weather and the going underfoot.
My wife lost her two year battle with Sarcoma in September 2020 at just 44 years old. Her Sarcoma was discovered quickly and dealt with professionally and sincerely by all involved. Yet it still took a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend away from the people who knew her.
Sarcoma UK is a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments. Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep our Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Thank you for your support.
