We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Building on the successful Tour de Hewitsons in 2017 and
2018, we will be getting on our bikes once more and doing a circuit of our offices in Northampton, Cambridge and Milton Keynes, before returning to Northampton. The 2019 Tour de Hewitsons takes place on May 16th and 17th.

The team will be raising money for Cancer Research UK. The
lives of so many are now touched by cancer, and the marvellous work of CRUK is very close to our hearts.

Edward Wheen, one of our Partners and the originator of the
Tour, was diagnosed with Myeloma, a form of blood cancer, last July and is being treated successfully (he is already in remission) on a CRUK funded clinical trial. The speed of advance in cancer treatment is astonishing, and the prognosis is constantly improving thanks to CRUK amongst others.

The team members this year, so far, are:

  • Simon Biggin
  • Bill Thatcher
  • Andrew Priest
  • Neil Harpham
  • Rachel Smith
  • David Browne
  • Ruth Fitch
  • Edith Nnotum
  • Charlotte Herrington
  • Lizzie Herbert
  • Francesca Rossi
  • Katherine Hague
  • Virginia Henley
