Why are we doing this?

We are doing this trek to raise money for Orphans in Need (OiN). OiN is a UK charity that aims to create opportunities for orphans and widows after tragedy has come into their lives. OiN is currently supporting over 30,000 orphans and their families in 14 countries. OiN supports those who cannot provide for themselves, delivering sustainable, long-term solutions to those in need. We offer regular food parcels, cover fees for education and healthcare and support orphanages abroad.

When are we doing the trek?

On 11th June 2022, we will be doing a ridge hike in the Brecon Beacons, covering the three highest peaks in the South Wales: 
- Corn Du (873m) 
- Pen y Fan (886m)
- Cribyn (795m)
- Fan y Big (719m).

How much do we aim to raise and how will it be used?

We are aiming to raise £15,000 which will support 40 orphans for 1 full year. The money raised will support the orphans with:

• Food • Shelter • Clothing • Clean Water and Sanitation • Education • Medical care • Loving care in a family-oriented home or institution.

How much did you raise during the last treks?

- In 2019, we trekked to the top of Mount Snowdon and raised over £10,000. The money raised provided support to 30 orphans for 1 full year.
- In 2020, we trekked to the top of Scafell Pike and raised more than £12,000. The money raised provided higher education support to 35 orphans for 1 full year.
