My name is Sophia, and I'm four-years-old. I have Cockayne syndrome, a
condition that affects my growth and mobility. I also have a tremor that
affects my balance.

My condition means that I'm very small for my age and I find it difficult to play with the toys that my friends have.

This means that I don't get to go outside much with my school friends and it makes me sad and lonely when I watch them playing together.

My mummy and daddy have been told that a specialist tricycle would be good for me. It would help me to get out of the house more and play with my friends.

But the tricycle that I need would cost £1,247 and mummy says that's just too expensive.   “

They have helped to create this Just Giving page and they are also asking other charitable trusts, grant giving organisations, rotary clubs and masons lodges if they can help to raise the money.

I hope that you can make a donation because I really miss playing out with my two brothers, something that I dream of doing.   

Mummy says that the tricycle will also develop the muscles in my legs and will help me to get fitter.
