Story
With Captain Tom Moore and Ed Jackson completing 2 fantastic challenges, I have truly been inspired and motivated to complete the Wales 3000 which I was meant to do with some of the Fircroft Boys at school in June. This obviously can't happen, so I am bringing the mountains of North Wales to Rutland. As I will complete the a Virtual Wales 3000
This is what I will endure:
47km total distance for challenge
3300m elevation gain
314 flights of stairs
43km walking/running the rest on village road
Target 2 days
Any support would be much appreciated, as this is all going to such a great cause during a tough time in our lives. Please if possible raise awarness about this challenge through your social media and if you would like to get involved just contact me on Instagram or Facebook
If anyone wants to join in or do something similar please also contact me, as if this is successful I will endure something a lot harder than this.
Thanks in advance for all your support
Most people will feel lonely at some point in their lives. It’s a deeply personal experience that - in most cases - will thankfully pass. Sadly, 2.65m older people feel they have no one to turn to for help and around 3.9m older people consider TV to be their main form of company. Donating to this page will help the national Age UK to continue providing vital services that offer companionship, advice and support for older people facing later life alone.
