We provide care in Coventry & Warwickshire to people with a terminal illness aged 18+

Story

I am the Chapter Director of BNI Webb Ellis Chapter. We are a group of business professionals who meet weekly, to learn, support and help each other grow their businesses. We sadly lost a member of our group to cancer earlier in the year, and a hard-core (or stupid) bunch of our members, and some of their colleagues and family, have agreed to take part in this group challenge in memory of John and for his chosen charity.

The pack are me (Cadman Homes), my Property Sales Advisor Tamara McLaren, Claire and Cathy from Stonewall Security, Malcolm Freeman from Oxygen Graphics, Paul and Sharon Clews from Lightning Signs with Sean Cherry and Gary Lee, Stan Kowalski from Grace and Harmony Kitchens, Paul Revel from Revelation Design and his friend Amarjit. There are also Charlotte and Danielle from Johns Gilbert and Frankton Solicitors.

A special thank you must go to Spencer Brown and his team at Peak Performance, Strength and Conditioning for providing group training sessions for us! Thank you for putting us through our paces every week in the run up to the event!

At The Myton Hospices we believe that everyone matters for every single moment of their life and that treating patients with dignity and respect is more important than meeting targets. We passionately believe that the final part of someone’s life is as important as the beginning. We also know that making someone feel better is not just about medicine – sometimes holding someone’s hand.In the last 12 months, we have worked with and supported over 2,300 patients and their families across Coventry and Warwickshire.

We support thousands of people living with terminal illnesses & their families, in our three hospices, via our patient & family support services, and in the community through Myton at Home. We need to raise £11 million this year to provide our services free of charge – we can’t do it without you!
