Remembering Wendy Robbins

As a lot of you know we as a family were extremely shocked when our Mum suddenly had a cardiac arrest on Saturday 17th October. After days of waiting for improvements and good news we spent the day at the hospital on Wednesday 21st October having thorough conversations with the consultant about Mum's prognosis. He discussed everything very clearly and the evidence showed that mum had no brain activity and therefore would not be able to wake back up after the cardiac arrest. It was decided that the best course of action was to withdraw care and allow her to pass peacefully and comfortably. Each of us managed to spend some time alone with her to say our final goodbyes, something we will all cherish forever. Mum passed away peacefully on the afternoon of the 21st October.
Our Mum was such an avid supporter of The Royal British Legion and people have been asking who they can donate money to in her memory. We have therefore chosen to honour her memory and wishes by raising money for this amazing cause.
