St Luke’s is an independent charity caring for terminally ill adults and their loved ones across Sheffield. Each year, we care for around 1,900 patients most of whom are cared for in their own home by our Specialist Palliative Care Community team.

Story

We are running the Sheffield 10km in September in aid of St Luke's Hospice.

St Luke's provides world-leading care for people across Sheffield who are diagnosed with a terminal illness. They help control symptoms, alleviate pain, and give patients the best possible quality of life.

St Luke's is not just for cancer patients.

They also help people with other illnesses including neurological conditions (such as motor neurone disease), HIV and end stage heart, lung and kidney conditions, as well as providing incredible support for families and friends too.

They do all of this for free.

Every year, St Luke's has to independently raise £11.5 million to ensure they can keep supporting our community and help those with a terminal illness live and die with dignity, care, and love.

We want to contribute to these efforts and help spread some awareness along the way!

Any donation, no matter how small, is greatly appreciated - every penny allows St Luke's to keep supporting those that need it the most.
