I have been involved with Age UK Wakefield District for over 12 years.
They are friendly and helpful in so many ways across the whole district.
 The Time for Tea events encourage a chat with a cuppa at several
locations across the district. They also support people over 50 become
more "connected" with IT help.

As a nor for profit charity, they raise money by fundraising activities
and some funding from organisations such as The National Lottery
Community Fund, The Henry Smith Charity and many others. Feedback from
service users is very positive and the dedicated staff and volunteers
work hard to make later life better for those they support.
