I am raising money for the amazing charity, Astriid, who have embarked on a challenge to collectively travel the circumference of the earth to raise money for their cause.

Astriid uses the money donated to help those with energy limiting chronic illness (ELCI) step into the work place and apply their skills. They help support the volume of hours people are able to, stand up for people with an ELCI by helping organisations build diverse, equal and inclusive workplaces and connect individuals with supportive job opportunities. 

Astriid holds a place close to my heart due to people in my family who have had to live with or currently live with ELCI. My family members did not require support from Astriid, however knowing what they went through I am fully aware of the monumental impact on people's lives Astriid can have!

I'm very grateful to my close friend Steve for introducing me to this charity and inspiring me to join the Astriid challenge. I only hope I can encourage others to take up the challenge and raise money for the amazing cause too!
