Zak, George and Zamir from Genum Recruitment are racing from London- Brighton Pier (a distance of 60 miles) to raise money and awareness for a children's charity called Magic Moments. This will be the second year Genum have raised money for this amazing charity and we are doubling our target! 

Coming from a lifestyle of 2 minute microwave meals, 2 minute gym sessions and 2 many pot noodles, Zak, George and Zamir would greatly appreciate any donations towards this great cause as it will spur them on to get healthy and complete this monumental task!

"The Magic Moments Children’s Charity was set up in 1998 by Alick Smith, the then Chairman of the UK’s largest independent estate agency Spicerhaart, and his wife Val. The charity was formally known as the Fantasy Charity Fund, the charity has raised in excess of £1m over the years and is dedicated to helping children from our supported hospices and their families on annual trips to Disneyland Paris.

Any additional funds in the charity pot have historically been used to provide vital equipment, electrical appliances, hoists to lift the children in and out of their beds or baths, and toys for the Children’s Hospices.

We currently support 12 Children’s Hospices around the country that are situated close to our branch network which enables our staff to get involved and see the difference the fundraising makes.

Our colleagues fundraise all year with our main aim to take families to Disneyland Paris every year for a special trip to spend time together.  Sometimes families have recently been bereaved and they find the support at this very difficult time absolutely invaluable.  In 2014 we recently took a record 209 people (45 families) from the 12 Hospices we support to Disneyland Paris for four days.  Each year different members of staff accompany the trips, not only as representatives but also to assist wherever they can. One Trustee member who recently travelled, stated ‘to call the experience moving is an understatement’."
