Story
I was recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease at the age of 32; however, I am determined to raise money to help find a cure so that I, and millions of other sufferers worldwide, do not need to suffer for the rest of our lives. One of the more distressing symptoms of PD is loss of facial mobility. The Funny Face Challenge (#funnyfacechallenge) is a social media campaign that asks participants to film or take a photo of themselves making a funny face before challenging 3 friends to record their own funny face.
For each photo/video posted, I would appreciate if you could make a £5 donation to Parkinson's UK via this Just Giving page or by texting TFFC82 £5 to 70070 (All money donated in either of these way goes straight to the Charity).
It costs £250 to fund a day of research. Parkinson's UK are currently funding around 90 groundbreaking Parkinson's research projects. These include projects investigating the causes of Parkinson's, improving life with the condition and exploring better treatments and a cure.
My wife and I set out to raise £1000 for Parkinson's UK. With your support we have smashed that- BUT this is a cause that needs as much funding as possible so disregard the £1000 and keep pushing the money through the roof!
