A team of four courageous Old Rugbeian's are taking a 1950's fire-engine half way round the world to Mongolia for Future Hope. After 10,000 miles they will donate the vehicle to the Mongolia Fire Authorities.

 

You may be aware of the Rugby School's links with Future Hope, a charity set up by an Old Rugbeian Tim Grandage (Whitelaw 71 – 76) in 1988.  Future Hope was established to provide a home, education, medical aid and opportunity to the street children of Calcutta. Future Hope is a school and home for street children in Kolkata (India). Each and every pound is a blessing for the children and community that now stretches across the world. 

 

Jonathan Choksey (Whitelaw 02 – 07) worked there for eight months in 2008, he saw the positive impact that funds raised by Rugby School and others made. More importantly how much it is appreciated, how it has touched the lives of so many with so little, thank you. After working there he know's that the hardest donations to obtain for the organization are the everyday costs. This is why all donations will go directly towards these costs; food and clothes for the children, salaries and general maintenance.  Please keep supporting this wonderful organisation, give it hope.
