Between the 13th and the 16th of September 2008; six triatheletes are undertook a Challenge called Arch to Arc. We will ran from Marble Arch, London to Dover (90+ miles), attempted a Channel swim (completing 12 miles - 5 miles off shore/ 7 miles along the shore) and then cycled to L'Arc de Triomphe., Paris (200 miles). Negotiating white van drivers, extreme sea temperatures, french police at L'Arc, 20 mph winds, 8 foot waves, buckets of sick, Richard and Tim's snoring. These people walk among you. They are by no means elite athletes. They are not Tee-total. They do not exist on a diet of brown rice, pasta and performance enhancing drugs. They don’t spend every waking hour training. They have jobs, real jobs. They have families. They live in normal houses. They don’t have live-in personal trainers or dieticians. They are just people that enjoy a challenge and want to raise some money for charities close to their heart in the process.
