Survival of the Fittest 2011
On November 12th, FXtreme will embark on their toughest challenge yet, a gruelling 10km obstacle course across the city of London. Participants will run alongside the River Thames and be met with various obstacles as they enter Battersea Park that will test even the fittest of athletes.
Renowned for pushing sports men and women to their limits, Men’s Helath – Survival of the Fittest is certainly not for the faint hearted. Our team need your full support if we are to meet our £10,000 goal, so please feel free to donate what you can.

FXtreme - Around The World Challenge
In 2010, twenty of the most elite FX specialists embarked on a mission to run around the world. Escaping years of fitness failure they joined this operation in to the unknown.
Some were considered heroes, others mad and incapable....
This tough team are known as FXtreme
The idea behind the FXtreme - Around The World Challenge is to raise money towards ‘Save the Children’. The campaign will start on the 1st January 2011 at 00:01 and finish on the 31st December 2012 at 00:00h, the amount raised will go towards our CSR chosen charity.
Distance = 7,917 miles (Diameter of the globe)
Chosen Charity – Save The Children
How it works!
Every time a member of the FXtreme team runs, walks, cross trains or cycles they need to log the number of miles completed on their ‘run keeper’
Once FXtreme members log their individual distance on the system, we at Currencies Direct will calculate the total number of miles covered collectively.
Who can donate?
Anyone can donate to this cause - friends, family, colleagues, pets and creatures with any accepted international currency.
Examples of Can and Can’t do’s
Can do!
Walking instead of taking bus to work
Walking the dog
Office group exercises that generate distances (not already doing)
Can’t do!
Walking to the bus stop as you do usually
Walking the dog the same distance as usual
Counting the distance of journey to work as extra
The above should give you the idea that you’re not counting your usual routine as part of raising money for this campaign as the purpose of this is to help improve health and fitness levels in our offices around the world and in turn donating our joint effort to a good cause.
Updates
Every month we will update the site to show you the distance covered by the FXtreme team.
