I'm raising money for two causes, the One to One Chidlren's fund, a small charity based in north London that works to ease the plight of suffering children around the world. The project I am supporting is working with Israeli and Palestinian children to help them to grow up with compassion and understanding for each other rather than with hostility. It's something I feel strongly about and have facilitated several workshops on this theme recently. The other charity is the New North London Synagogue Tikkun Olam Centre, a new initiative of my synagogue that makes grants for projects that aim to "heal the world" in their own small way.
