My story

 
On 8 September 2006 we will be forming our civil partnership at the registry office in Morden, followed by a celebratory dinner in a restaurant for all our guests.

Some of you have asked us what we want for a present. But we have been together for 38 years, and we have all the toasters, crockery and bedlinen that we need. So we invite you instead to make a donation, if you wish, to our nominated charity, Diabetes UK.

Gabriel has been involved with this charity for many years. He is himself diabetic, and so are some of his family. And John ran a marathon a few years ago collecting sponsorship for Diabetes UK.
