ChildLine is the UK's free and confidential, 24 hour helpline for children in distress or danger. Trained volunteer counsellors comfort, advise, support and protect children and young people who may feel they have nowhere else to turn. Children call ChildLine about a wide range of problems, but the most common problems are abuse (both sexual and physical), bullying, serious family tensions, worries about friends' welfare and teenage pregnancy. Children and young people can call ChildLine about anything – no problem is too big or too small. ChildLine is a service provided by the NSPCC

Story

On April 26th 2009 did the London Marathon in 4hrs 34 mins.

The team are all rearing to go so please final push to get to our target

This will soon be followed by taking part in the Yorkshire 3 peaks 24.1 mile challenge climbing some 5000 feet on June 13th along with 15 other individuals from N3SP including Gabriel Martins, Jane Conway, Carly Smith, Sally Reeves, Sue Tolson, Richard Hardware, Richard Spencer, Bob Robinson, Martin Brewster, Victor Kuipers, Andrew Pratchett, Chris Hilpert and friends Colin Jarvis, Bill Morrison and Phil Wheeler and Ian Smith

As we did last year we are hoping our family, friends and colleagues will be able to sponsor us and spur us on every pace of the way through the above Challenges.

To Continue along the theme of improving treatment for Children this year our Chosen Charity is Childline.

Childline offers Young People the opportunity to talk with a trained volunteer counsellor on problems / issues that they are going through such as bullying, peer pressure, abuse etc.

Every £4 you sponsor enables a Childline Counsellor to answer a call from a young person who otherwise might have no one else to turn to.

Thanks in advance for your support
