"I'm running another marathon, and this time it's personal :-)

I have two ambitions.... To break the three-hour barrier (pg) and in the process raise as much money as possible for Auditory VerbalUK. 

Why AuditoryVerbalUK you may ask....

Well, my niece, Aimee was born last May with an incurable hearing loss and we're now trying to do as much as possible to help.  She receives bi-weekly treatment at AuditoryVerbalUK.  AVUK directly helps deaf & hearing impaired children from across the UK to develop their language & communication skills such that they can attend mainstream schools and reach their full potential.

AVUK, being a charity, is able to support a very wide range of children, and it's to this end that we are raising money on their behalf.
