Well, we did it!

7 hours 40mins  which we were happy with. We could have finished quicker but with toilet stops and having to stop for traffic etc etc we were happy with this and our pace was steady and consistent. The weather was kind to us and stayed dry.

Encouragement along all of the route was fantastic, from the  marshalls and the public, some the worse for wear, but still supportive. One guy was so busy watching us as he was driving along in his car that he crashed into the car in front! further along the route a ploice car had " don't stop me now" by Queen blasting out from their speaker system. The whole experience and the amount raised was well worth the early morning long training sessions!

Thanks to all of you who have sponsored us. We raised in excess of £1800 which is much much more than we expected.
