My story

Hiya!
Many of you know Raph and what a charmer he is and how much everybody loves him! Well we have the Evelina Childrens Hospital (ECH) to thank for that. He was born with a life long (and limiting) very severe heart condition called Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome and only has half a functioning heart with dodgy plumbing to boot.

He has had two long open heart operations and will have another one later this year. He spent two of the first four months of his life in ECH and some of the few things that got us through it were the little (!) things on the ward which were extras - a sitting room with a TV and microwave for the parents, a washing machine, a bottle steriliser - things that you wouldn't know you might need until the ward becomes your home! ECHO provides these things that keep the parents sane so they can look after their kids in hospital and also provides lots of other things to support kids like Raphael.

We think they are fab and want to raise money for them so they can keep giving and providing for these wonderful children who take adversity head on with a smile!!

As most of you know I am not a runner so doing the marathon wasn't an option! I can however use gravity to get my bod from the top of the 143m high tower to the bottom - I shall probably have my eyes firmly closed as heights aren't really my thing either! But Raph does a million things that are so much harder than this so I know I can do it (or to paraphrase someone NO I CAN DOOLIT
RAPHAEL!!!!)

PLEASE PLEASE SPONSOR ME - EVEN IF YOU CAN ONLY AFFORD A SMALL DONATION, AS THE SUPPORT MEANS A LOT TOO! - THANK YOU SOOOOOOO MUCH - WE REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR GENEROSITY AND SUPPORT

lots of love Gail and Kevin and Raphael and Nathan xxx
