The Midnight Walk half marathon · 7 June 2008

Since 1988, St Luke’s has been providing specialist, palliative care and support to local people, supporting them in ways which go beyond the scope and funding of the NHS. Our support begins from the moment someone is diagnosed, through to palliative care and ultimately end of life care.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

On 28th June at midnight I shall be taking part in the Midnight Walk, a half marathan in aid of St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice.  I am sure you will agree that the care a hospice provides for patients, their families and friends is unique.

Like a lighthouse in a rough sea, St Luke's is a place where people find a safe refuge during a difficult time.

As you can see it is a very special place.

However it costs St Luke's £5200 per day to stay open and therefore fundraising plays a vital part in raising this much needed money.  I do hope you will feel able to support me on this special occassion.  There are 1500 women taking part and it is one of the biggest fundraising events of the year. All donations will be very gratefully received by St Luke's and you know your money will be well spent.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St Luke's (Cheshire) Hospice gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Many thanks for taking the time to read this page and hopefully giving me your support.
