Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

As most of you know I spent a short stint in Southern Iraq a couple of years ago having been mobilised from the TA to serve with the British Army in Basra. I thankfully came home from this experience alive, well and in one piece. Some didn't. I therefore have a small idea what our Armed Forces personnel put themselves through in both Iraq and Afghanistan. I do know that they deserve the very best that we as a Nation can provide them should they have the misfortune to get injured whilst on active service. I also know that they could get better support, I'm not whining I just know we could provide better and they deserve better, the BEST. That's kind of what Help for Heroes is about - to provide practical direct support to those wounded in the line of duty. They deserve the BEST so please donate to help make that happen.
