Myself and three others will be climbing Kilimanjaro in Tanzania on 10th June this year...three of us will be climbing for the Joe Glover trust fund; a children's cancer charity based in Hampshire.. www.thejoeglovertrust.co.uk
I have chosen to raise money for this particular trust as Cancer has affected a few people close to my heart. Although they haven't been children, I feel strongly about such young persons' suffering when they've experienced so little of their life. Cancer doesn't just affect the person suffering but also those closest to them. Having been in a terrifying situation myself, not knowing whether you're going to lose a person you love is extremely difficult to deal with. The Joe Glover trust helps provide individual support to children and their families through clinical, emotional and financial services.
I start my training this Monday 25th Jan..going to be tough first few weeks alongside a 7-week charter but i'm determined to get super fit for this!!
I aim to raise a minimum of £500 for the trust and desperately need your help! no matter how small... remember that 'every little helps'!
