Fundraising for Mat-to-fore
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
Please sponsor me to run a mountain marathon to raise money for the charity Mat to Fore. The mountain marathon involves fell running over the mountains in Scotland for two days running about 28 miles (if we don't get lost), with 2000m ascent, whilst carrying all you kit on your back (including a tent!). I'll be running this race in June with my team mate Sam Clifford.
The Mat to Fore Charity is a Christian charity that seeks to improve the lives of the people living in a rural village of Ghana called Kotei. Last year we built a school and biogass toilet which, in reponse, the government then provided a teacher allowing the school to open last September. This year we hope to build a kitchen, admin block and some play equipement to further help the conditions for the children in Kotei.
Me and Lucy will be heading out to Ghana this summer with a small team of volunteers to help forawrd the project.
