On 22nd May I, along with some other elite athletes (Paul Ellison - Bradford and Bingley Group and Dave Skevington - Delta-Simons), will take part in the Snowdon 500 in aid of Prostate Cancer Research. Clearly this is no great challenge to a men like us in the peak of physical condition. Unfortunately we are not 'men like us', we are just 'us', so I suspect we will find it quite a challenging day out. Still, at least there is a cafe at the top.
Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men in the UK, with 30,000 men diagnosed every year and 10,000 losing their lives in the UK alone. Please dig deep and help me achieve my target for this brilliant charity. I will also be accepting blister plasters, kendal mint cake, vaseline and other essential walking equipment in advance of the event.
thanks a lot
G
