I got a medal!

Finished the London Marathon in 4 hrs 53 mins, 30 minutes quicker than last year....not sure how, but I appear to have got a bit better (or perhaps I was just REALLY rubbish last year!)

Great day, amazing crowds, at times shocking weather, and all so worth it. Thanks to ANYONE who took time out to line the route & shout my name. it helped SO much!

Didn't even get beaten by a tin of beans this year (although a gorilla did peg past me at mile 23!)

I ran for SANDS, the Stillborn & Neonatal Death Society, a charity who provide the most caring & ongoing support to families devastated by the loss of a baby. In particular I ran for my friends Jane & Chris in memory of Abi's sister Megan.
