Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  This summer I'm aiming to cycle over 1600km from Land End to John O'Groats  fuelled only by real ale and cake.  The ride will take (hopefully) less than 2 weeks.  Due to illness and a booked holiday I'm cheating slightly by having a break in Glasgow to go on a cycling holiday to the Alps before returning to finish!

UPDATE: 494 miles covered so far in 35 hours

Day 1: Lands end to Tavistock 92 miles

Day 2: Tavistock to Bridgewater 80 miles (via Dartmoor in torrential rain)

Day 3: Bridgewater to Monmouth 70 miles

Day 4: Monmouth to Shrewsbury 70 miles

Day 5: Shrewsbury to Warrington 50 miles

Next leg....

Day 6: Warrington to Carlisle 130 miles 8.5 hours

Day 7: Carlisle to Glasgow 103 miles 7 hours

Day 8: Glasgow to Fort William 115 miles 9 hours

Day 9: Fort William to Inverbnss 78 miles 

Day 10: Inverness to John O'Groats 118 miles 9 hours

Finished!  Total 903 miles I think, not sure the average speed but about 13  miles per hour.  Now attempting to get back, only made it to Inverness so far due to lack of bike space on trains.
