Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

The Orthapeadic Hospital nr Oswestry does great work for its patients each year and all the extra cash raised through the Virgin London marathon is bound to be well used.

Having missed the start by 45 minutes in 2003 and completing the marathon in an agonisingly untrained time of 5hrs 57 mins, I hope to achieve a respectable time of 4 hrs 29 mins, running all the way and enjoy the start alongside my fellow athletes - not the bin men and the white line removal team.

This years tactical training is being organised by Arriva. I will be using mainly the no'70 and 406 routes, progressive planning is key and utilising the 'one way' ticketing system,  fundamentaly requires a fast run home for tea.

I aim to complete the Shrewsbury to Oswestry route by mid March, so keep those eyes peeled all of you regular no '70 midday rider's.

Please donate as much as you can, so I can put my feet up and concentrate on running and running again and again and again!

Thankyou to you all in advance of your kindness and for the financial support your offering this worthy cause.

( A special thanks to Arriva for providing the bus time tables).
