Story
After completing the Snowdonia Challenge in 2010, Kilimanjaro in 2011, the Sahara Trek in 2013, Aconcagua and The Inca Trail in 2014, the Gobi Desert Trek in 2016 this is our latest adventure to raise money for Charity.
Together with 98 HSBC colleagues we will be heading to Greenland in August 2018, so between now and then we need to raise USD2,000 for WaterAid.
As the least densely populated territory in the world with a population of less than 60,000, the trek will take us through untamed land, some of which is untouched by human civilization.
A country that has 80% of its land mass covered in ice, we will be trekking across multiple terrains such as tundra and glaciers. No group of this size has ever trekked this area. Surviving on basis meals, camping in tents in cold conditions, and cut off from all things we take for granted such as a toilet and hot shower, this extremely remote expedition is not for the faint hearted.
