Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

Our objective is simple: 'Building Better Futures' for young adults with autism, by providing bespoke employment training and work experience. Training takes place at The Autism Trust & Polly's Place in Camberley, which sells handmade gifts & art created by people with autism & their families.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

After much soul searching I've decided to try and complete a marathon before i get too old! The good people at the Flora London Marathon have given me a place and now I have to do the training.

My 11 year old son, Ethan, (pictured left) was diagnosed as severely autistic not long before his 2nd birthday and the nine years since have been both a joy and a struggle to say the least!

The Autism Trust is attempting to alleviate some of the problems associated with autistic children and I would ask for you to donate as much as you can afford.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: The Autism Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thanks for your support and I look forward to letting you know how quick my time was!!
