Pete Young was a very close friend of ours and our children have grown up together, we had only just come back from our annual New Years Holiday together when we learned of Pete's brain tumour.

When he was moved to St Lukes we new the outcome would not be good but we also knew that the care he would receive there would make him as comfortable as possible.

We now wish to ensure St Lukes can look after others in the same way, to do this I am walking in the Annual Midnight Walk which raises funds to help the Hospice continue its work.  I am undertaking this walk with Pete's wife Cheryl, his sister Julie and Michelle his sister in law.
