I have finally dusted down my Penny Farthing and am taking part in the Lancashire Loop Cycle Challenge. As the name suggests, this is a circular bicycle ride of 100 miles (160.93 km in new money) around the wonderful county of Lancashire. Unfortunately it is a not a flat ride and includes total climb of 5000ft, so think of a long bike ride over the top of Ben Nevis and that's what we are doing.

As the furthest I have cycled in the last 25 years is 4.5miles I will need all the encouragment I can get so don't be bashful about sponsoring me, you know you want to.
