BUPA Great North Run 2009 · 20 September 2009 ·

We’re the 10 million people living with arthritis in the UK. The carers, researchers and healthcare professionals. The family, friends and fundraisers. United by a clear vision: a future free from arthritis. One in which no one is limited by the pain, fatigue and isolation that arthritis can cause.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.  Although I've said that my target is £1000 I'd like to beat that if I can and the more I can raise for this worthwhile charity the better!

It's always been an ambition of mine to run a marathon (or half marathon!) so I've decided this will be the year!  I'm already in training. (Although I consider myself to be quite fit - I have to for the line of work I am in! )

Family members & friends have been affected by Arthritis and also Fibromyalgia.  I have seen first hand the pain and difficulties they have.   I think it is fair to say that everyone knows someone who suffers so, what better way to help than by digging deep into your pocket to help the on going research and who knows one day there may even be a cure!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Arthritis Research Campaign gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!  You know you want to!! :-)

Thanks a lot,

Gary
